Predefined Functions - ceil
Description: For real arguments this function calculates the smallest integer greater than or equal to the argument. For complex arguments this function is performed on the real and on the imaginary part. For quaternion arguments this function is performed on all four parts separately. Examples: ceil(-4.5)=-4 ceil(0)=0 ceil(4.1)=5 ceil(5)=5 ceil(z)=ceil(x+iy) = ceil(x) + i*ceil(y) ceil(3.4,10.9)=4+i*11 |
