File/Import Submenu

• Compiler Formulas
  ChaosPro can use UltraFractal formula files (*.uxf (Transformations), *.ufm (Iteration Formulas) and *.ucl (Coloring Formulas) files) as well as FractInt *.frm files. But before they can be used they need to be converted to ChaosPro syntax. In order to import the most recent UltraFractal formulas you can either download them manually or just use the update feature from within ChaosPro. For more information about this feature see Formula Database. I recommend to update the formulas because having lots of formulas lets you create lots of different and interesting fractals.
  
  
  Please note that currently UltraFractal Alpha Channel formulas are not supported.
  
  
  
• Image (png,jpg)
  ChaosPro can reload any PNG or JPEG image (regardless whether it has been created with ChaosPro). If it encounters a parameter file entry as comment inside that PNG file, it automatically loads in that entry, too. This way you can save an image (including the parameters needed to recreate it) and later on you can load the image and continue to explore.
  
  Currently ChaosPro sets the display depth of any loaded fractal to 24 bit.
